Something’s HOT at Tuscany

If you are looking for romance, fairytale ambience and delicious food, Tuscany has always been the answer.  Their meatloaf, pork chop, steak & fries and chicken piccata have always been favorites of mine.  Just last month, they created a hidden oasis tucked behind the main cottage – a gorgeous barbecue ensconced in stone, perched in between the giant pine trees.

On Wednesday nights, Executive Chef Adam Vickers puts together a special menu that he prepares on the barbecue while you stare up into the stars.  One recent evening he featured cedar plank salmon with roasted cherry tomatoes and asparagus, lamb t-bones with roasted potatoes and red wine sauce, Wagyu beef burgers with Tuscan garlic fries, and braised Kurobuta pork ribs.  Each Wednesday the menu changes but you can be sure it will feature lots of local delights and will be served to you under the twinkling lights strung from tree to tree.  There are only a few tables to snag on the patio, so call ahead or cross your fingers.  Tuscany’s new outdoor barbecue is HOT HOT HOT!  Tuscany, 2832 East 6200 South, 801-277-9919
