St. Patrick’s Day is one of those non-stress holidays where you can just let loose and have fun! Utah always has a long list of fun activities and events for families, and the best part is, most of them are FREE!
Visit Enjoy Utah’s St. Patrick’s Day page for an ongoing list of events, but here are the highlights:
St Patrick’s Day Parade and Siamsa
Saturday March 12th at 10am
Ending downtown at the Gateway, this parade is the second largest parade all year! The parade will start in the area of the intersection of 400 West and 200 North, march on 400 West heading south, through the middle of the Gateway, a distance of approximately 9/10 of one mile. The line of March will terminate at the south end of the Gateway. Stick around after the parade for the Siamsa, a traditional Irish festival.
The Trickiest Leprechaun Puppet Show
A FREE puppet show for families at participating Salt Lake County libraries all month long.
The Sandy Library has a fun treasure hunt for kids.
Many Salt Lake County libraries have leprechaun crafts during the month of March.
Celtic Music by Harvest Home

You can also find printable leprechaun crafts and coloring pages, learn how to make a lucky charm tree, watch a video of how to make a leprechaun, and learn about making a trap to catch the mischevious leprechaun at your house! Visit the Enjoy Utah! St Patrick’s Day page for all this and more!
