I am a mother to two awesome kids, and have been married to my favorite hubby (okay, my only hubby, but still my favorite!) since October 1999. Our favorite thing to do is get out of the house and find adventures! I am the founder and creator of Enjoy Utah!, a site dedicated to helping families get out of the house and see all that Utah has to offer! I contribute as a blog writer for the Salt Lake Visitors Bureau, and also write CityGuides for SheKnows.com.. I am excited to be a part of Today's Mama! I co-own a DJ Business with my hubby, and also do the online marketing and manage the blog and social media for Gines Auto Service.

FREE Lego Classes For Kids

We recently attended a FREE “Mommy and Me” Lego Class at the Sandy Library.

Building an alligator with Legos

It was a BLAST! It was geared towards 3-5 year olds, but they have different times for different age groups.

I was really impressed with how they interacted with the kids, and snuck in some learning while using the legos. While building with Legos, the kids learned colors, math, facts about animals, and letter sounds. The letter for today was “A”, and the focus was on building an alligator. They taught that if you see an alligator, you say “AAAAA!!!!!!”, and because alligator starts with “A”, the “A” sound says “aaaaa”! Very clever!

There are many more free lego classes this entire month, for all age groups. Check out the schedule HERE. Make sure you get registered as soon possible, because the free classes at the libraries fill up fast! They are completely free, but you do have to register!

Thanks so much for giving everyone an exceptionally splendid chance to check tips from this website. It’s always so good and also packed with fun for me personally and my office friends to search your blog at a minimum 3 times per week to find out the new items you have got. And lastly, I am just actually fulfilled for the gorgeous ideas served by you. Selected 3 areas in this posting are ultimately the most beneficial I have ever had.
