It is with great anticipation that “Louis the Camfed Bag” finally arrived in Utah the day before Mother’s Day. My first week with him has been quite busy. Last week he hung out with me on Mother’s Day, went to the Girl Scout Lakeview Service Unit Meeting, Layton Christian Academy’s 8th grade salute, and then on to Los Angeles. More pictures to follow. Louis got to see Rebecca Wise Grissom again (his bag lady for April when I was in LA). I went to another event with Suzanne Evans, the best business coach that I have ever met. He also got some special attention going through security last night at LAX. I think that those security ladies just wanted to put their hands on a Louis Vuitton! (they actually said, and I quote “We need to take a look in that “Louis” that is going through, although I did accidentally leave a bottle of water in him). I have to admit that except for my Louis, I probably wouldn’t know a Louis Vuitton if it hit me upside the head. I have never been a big “purse” girl. As I have been traveling around with him though, I have been receiving quite a few looks. Seems like some people can spot them right off the bat. The last week has been quite fun. I am still looking for places to take Louis for the rest of the month. It is $480 to send a girl in Africa through high school. Louis has sent about 27 so far. I would love for him to send another while he is here in Utah, so if anyone has an event and wants to make a donation to camfed call me and let’s arrange a visit from Louis the Bag!
