We just got back from one of the most AMAZING hikes I have ever been on. We had plans to do Lake Katherine, but due to the length and time restraints we opted for an easier and shorter hike. As we drove up to Albion Basin the wildflowers were in full bloom. “STOP THE CAR! I have to get a picture, this is AMAZING!”
I’ve heard about the wildflowers at Alta but have never been fortunate enough to experience their beauty. Now nestled at the top of Albion Basin is Cecret Lake Trail. An easy, short trail perfect for families.
It has everything a little one could want! Creeks to splash in,
rocks to climb,
and sticks galore.
Now even though the scenery was beautiful, our little ones were NOT! Some hikes are just like that though, complaining, more complaining, and enough complaining to make you want to turn around and go home. But, we did not stop, we pushed on and it was Glorious!
We made the 1 mile trip to the top, enjoyed a short rest
and were in AWE at the SWEET sun setting on the way down.
Put this PUPPY at the top of your list to do this month!
