I am a mother to two awesome kids, and have been married to my favorite hubby (okay, my only hubby, but still my favorite!) since October 1999. Our favorite thing to do is get out of the house and find adventures! I am the founder and creator of Enjoy Utah!, a site dedicated to helping families get out of the house and see all that Utah has to offer! I contribute as a blog writer for the Salt Lake Visitors Bureau, and also write CityGuides for SheKnows.com.. I am excited to be a part of Today's Mama! I co-own a DJ Business with my hubby, and also do the online marketing and manage the blog and social media for Gines Auto Service.

What To Do This Weekend? Utah Holiday Events!

There are so many Utah holiday events going on this weekend that instead of trying to find something to do, your problem will be trying to decide which activities to do! Here are my top picks for what to do this weekend:

Ice Skating at The Gallivan Center
The Gallivan Center ice rink is now open and ready for skating! Come support the Angel Tree kickoff and see an amazing firework show as the Gallivan Center Ice Rink opens in style. Live music and other performances for all those who participate! Money for skate admission will go to support Angel Tree.

Natural History Museum of Utah OPEN!
It’s been a long time waiting for the new (and newly named) Natural History Museum of Utah to move to its newly built home at the Rio Tinto Center. Their grand opening day is on Friday November 18th, and are open daily from 10am to 5pm. Wednesdays they will stay open until 9pm. They are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Their new home is located at 301 Wakara Way in Salt Lake City. Admission prices are posted on their website.

Elves Scavenger Hunt at Gardner Village
The elves have arrived at Gardner Village, which means the official start of the holiday season! You can download the scavenger hunt on the Gardner Village website, and receive a special prize when you complete it. Gardner Village is having their Midnight Madness savings event on Saturday November 19th from 6pm to Midnight, which is the perfect opportunity to put a big dent in your Christmas shopping list.
