Holiday Events at Thanksgiving Point AND an Annual Family Membership Giveaway (Contest Closed)

Thank you to everyone that commented: The winner of the Annual Family Membership to Thanksgiving Point is Heather Diane. Congratulations!

Now that we’re into December, I feel like I’m mired down in the “to do’s” of the holiday season. I’ve got my head down, pen scribbling list after list of gifts to get, treats to bake, cards to mail…you know the drill.

Let’s stop it.

Unless you want your kid’s holiday memories to be of you frantically pacing around the house muttering to yourself about wrapping paper.

Thanksgiving Point has more holiday happenings than you can shake a stick at. Don’t believe me? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

They’ve got Holiday Lights, Breakfast with Santa, Utah Symphony Holiday Concert, Voice Mail Christmas Performance, Live Reindeer (you can feed them AND pet them) and a fabulous Christmas Tree lot, Photos with Santa, and an Ice Sculpting Demonstration. You can get all the details on ThanksgivingPoint.org.

If that wasn’t enough to make your Christmas merry, we’re giving away a Thanksgiving Point Annual Family Membership ($175 value) to one lucky UtahMama.com reader.

This membership offers access to all venues—including the popular Dinosaur Museum, award-winning gardens and even $5 movies on the XanGo movie screen.

Doesn’t that sound like a wonderful way to spend 2012? I bet a few families on your holiday shopping list would love a membership of their own.  (HINT)

To enter to win this Thanksgiving Point Annual Family Membership, just leave me a comment below telling me how you’d use your annual pass. Entry deadline is Wednesday 12/14 @ 7p MST. I’ll post one random winner that evening.

Good Luck!

I would love to suprise my boys with the membership. They are dying to go to the Museum of Ancient Life. I’m sure they would enjoy all of the other venues Thanksgiving Point has to offer as well!

So my two year old would love the dinosaurs and my 7 year old would love the animals in the springtime. Such a cool place! We went for the first time last week to see the lights and deer. :)

I’d LOVE to win. Well, since it’s winter, I’d take my kids to the Dinosaur (Museum of ancient life), we’ve never been, and we want to. And we’ll do breakfast with Santa and take advantage of all the fun holiday things they have going on. We’ve also never done the holiday lights! FUN. Then in the spring we’ll go to Farm Country. We LOVE that place. My kids love the pony rides. Then in the spring and summer, I’ll go to the Gardens. I LOVE the gardens. I used to have a garden pass. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. There are very few places like that in Utah County. We’ll spend our summer rotating between farm country, the gardens and the museum. Then in the fall, we’ll be back again. We’d certainly put it to good use. (AND P.S. If you haven’t ever had their Tomato Soup in the deli and bakery, you’re missing out.)

If I won this annual pass it would be used to take all the kids in the family. My daughter is 16 and how neat would it be to take her and listen while she teaches the yongsters :) Merry Christmas to everyone and great wishes for the new year.

Oh my word it would be fun to have a membership to Thanksgiving Point! We’d put it to good use by FINALLY taking our little girl to the “Dina-Snore U-zee-um!” She’s been asking and asking. We would also be sure to visit for the Tulip Festival and try some the yummy ice cream I’ve heard about! :)

I would use this as a gift for a cousin of mine she has 3 boys and would love to use this pass. They don’t have a lot of extra money or some luxuries that others do. They would enjoy this very much

Our family has never been to Thanksgiving Point because it is too expensive for us We would love to go spend some time there. I did go with one daughter to the dinosaur museum for a field trip and I think the kids would love that!

Wow! What an amazing give away! We would undoubtedly be going regularly with a free pass to the many activities Thanksgiving Point has to offer. My boys would LOVE the dino museum, my daughters would love the animal farm, and the hubby and I would love the rest! I especially love going to the Tulip Festival every year.

  11. Stacy MacDonald 12/07/2011 at 11:07 pm

We would love love love this! I have five kids and it costs a fortune to take them anywhere. It doesn’t work to only take a couple to somewhere fun. :) We always go during Aug when they do their $2 Tuesdays. Then the kids ask all year when we can go back. Everything there is so much fun. It’s like taking a little mini vacation. There is so much to do and see you get the chance to forget about life’s worries and enjoy some true fun with your kids. It is so nice to get to relax and enjoy the activities and beauty that Thanksgiving Point has to offer. I just love it there.

My boys would love it, as would I! My boys love the dinosaur museum and when it’s warm we love walking through the gardens. There is so much fun there for us to do. I’d surprise my hubby with a picnic at the spot in the gardens where he proposed to me. I’d take my sil and we would take a book of Secret Garden and spend the day in the Secret Garden reading the book. It’s been something she’s wanted to do for a long time.

  18. Michele 12/08/2011 at 7:42 am

  22. Wendy O. 12/09/2011 at 6:05 am

What a wondeful gift for whomever receives this! We’ve never, ever been down there but would be thrilled for the opportunity. My daughter was just told she’s the science teacher’s favorite student and this would allow her to increase her scientific learning and remain on the “Dean’s List”. My boys would each love to explore and learn about the dinosaurs and bugs (flowers) as well!

  23. Sharon 12/09/2011 at 3:55 pm

We would use the pass to go to everything!

  24. Sharon 12/11/2011 at 9:32 pm

We’d go to everything we can’t afford to go to now!

  25. Nilanthi King 12/12/2011 at 1:01 pm

I’ve been using my individual membership to take family at discounted rates to Thanksgiving Point’s museum and gardens– especially great when we have visiting relatives! Still need to try out Farm Country, though. We go see the Christmas lights as one of our traditions, and we’ll be seeing the reindeer for the first time this year.

  26. Emily Craven 12/13/2011 at 4:18 pm

What a wonderful giveaway! I am so excited for whoever wins this. We have 2 young boys and they LOVE Thanksgiving Point, but the prices are so expensive that we aren’t able to go very often. This membership would be amazing! :)
