My finance career started back in 1997. I worked my way up learning all that I could to help everyone who sat at my desk. I am a honest person, I want your money to work for you! I love helping people get out of debt. What else.... wife.mother.friend.photographer. Finance.art.fitness.DIY-er.Volleyball.outdoors.beginner chef.Coach.and attempting to sew.

Financial Resolutions Tip #3 – Free Credit Reports

Request your free credit reports.

You can get your “Free” copy of your credit report at www.annualcreditreport.com, and with this you get one free report from each credit bureau. Equifax, Experian & TransUnion. The website is set up by the three bureaus. Review the report in detail. Make sure the accounts that you have open are correct & current. Look at your old closed accounts and make sure they are reported closed. Review them for accuracy, if there are mistakes take the steps to fix them. Letting mistakes on your credit report slide can cost you.

Remember, if you pull a credit report from ALL three, you have to wait ONE year before you can pull it again. Suggestion: Pull one report every 3-4 months. That way you are pulling 3 during the year to prevent any fraud.
