Making My Kitchen Table Into a Mini Preschool

School has arrived. I am a newbie at this, my oldest is starting kindergarten on Tuesday. Well, he meets his teacher and they do the assessment, then he starts school. I am so excited for him and a little nervous and anxious. He’ll do GREAT, I know it. He is so eager to learn, he does better at listening in school then at home for sure. So, when the kids are at school and  you have little ones at home, what to do, what to do? My 2 year old LOVES his big brother so I am worried he’ll be a little left out when his big brother starts school. So I cleaned up some old school stuff from his preschool and decided to do a mini make over of my kitchen table and have a mini preschool, since he can’t go for a while. I kept some of my sons preschool papers (they were to cute & I could use them again)

What you’ll need: paper, pencils, crayons, markers (washable of course), play doe, foam alphabet letters, puzzles

Amount you’ll spend: Less than $10.00 OR $0.00 if you all ready have these items at home.

Make if fun with snack time: string cheese, applesauce and juice. (They’re little, they don’t need anything fancy)

The MOST important thing…. HAVE FUN!!! Spending time with our kids is the most important thing. They’ll learn SO much from us, all we need to do is be there.

This is such a cute idea. I have three kids, only one in school. I was thinking of doing a mini-preschool at home for my son so this gives me some encouragement. Thanks.
