Gotta love the shoes, eh? I wear them when I teach. To me, they symbolize the journey that I have been on and just how far I have come. I have got to tell you that Dorothy’s shoes had nuthin’ on these! (Mine are magic too….)
This past weekend, I had the honor of speaking to some wonderful ladies at a Girl Scout hosted event (and I will use any excuse to wear my shoes). This event, called “The Goddess Day Camp”, is an annual fundraiser for the H.U.G.S. Campaign (Help Us Grow Strong).
Here is a picture of me at my information table. I had to get those shoes front and center (plus I can’t wear them all day!). There was a variety of classes. From essential oils, how to dress, the Mother/Daughter Connection, to my topic “Has the Bluebird of Happiness “Should” on Your Head”. If you think that topic is intriguing, sign up for my Boundary Bootcamp Teleclass starting November 1st. Check out the details on my events page, Choice Life Strategies.
A great big Thank You goes out to Texas Roadhouse, Red Robin and Sweet Tooth Fairy for sponsoring lunch. We also had the live band “Run the Sky is Falling” providing music at lunch time.
This was the 2nd annual Goddess Day Camp. Next year we would lke to make it bigger and better than ever. Goddess Day Camp. Hope to see you there!
