My Best Self Workshop ~ April 27, Layton UT

You are invited!

“My Best Self” Quickstart Workshop

April 27 ~ 9:00-3:00

Layton Utah

What do you think of when you hear the words “My Best Self”? What vision does your busy little mind conjure up? Do you see Positive Polly or Skinny Minny? Are you inclined to jump to the physical aspects of yourself or do you include the emotional and spiritual aspects as well? Considering how dimensional we humans are, I invite you to take a look at the bigger picture. You as a whole person.

What would it take for you to say “I am My Best Self” right now? Is there one particular “thing” that would let you make the proclamation? Or does your list look like your Christmas list to Santa when you were 8 (2 feet wide and ten feet long)? To step into Your Best Self, you first have to identify what you want. You can’t know where you are going if you don’t know where you are. Then you have to create a vision for you and the life you are living. This vision will act as a reference point. It will provide a map for your journey (images of the Yellow Brick Road are dancing in my head), because it is a journey you are embarking on. Along the way we may encounter lions, tigers and bears – oh my! Having that vision clarifies the steps you need to take in order to arrive at your desired destination. Using the Wizard of Oz analogy would make the original destination Oz – but as we know “there’s no place like home”. This vision will also act as a reminder. When you are about to embark on any actions, you can decide whether the choice you’re about to make will lead you in the direction of your journey, or it will take you off course. The Wizard of Oz would have been pretty boring if Dorothy got to go straight back home, wouldn’t it?

I have developed a new program I call “My Best Self”. Along the path we look at the things that get in your way (and how to remove them). We create boundaries so that we have the room to integrate all the aspects of our best self and we do away with the all those shoulds that weigh us down.
