Now Playing: Salt Lake Area High School Musicals

Salt Lake Area High School MusicalsTis the season for Salt Lake area high school musicals. November has one playing in every corner of the valley. We’ve been taking our girls to high school musicals since they were little–and now they are taking their turns on stage.  I’ll tell you from first hand experience, these teenagers work hard to deliver something great. For about the price of a movie, it’s a lot of fun to  shake things up and cheer for the local drama club. Here is a list of high school musicals now playing around town:

SEUSSICAL Murray High School

  • November 14, 15, 16, 18
  • Tickets $6-8
  • Come at 6:00 p.m. to read stories with Dr. Seuss characters.
  • Curtain at 7:00 p.m.

SHREK THE MUSICAL East High School

  • November 14, 15, 16, 18
  • $4.50 if purchased in a group of 10 or more. $5.00 students, $8.00 adults.
  • Curtain each night at 7:00 p.m.

HELLY DOLLY Riverton High School

  • November 14, 15, 16, 18
  • $7.00-$8.00
  • Curtain at 7:00 p.m.

TARZAN THE STAGE MUSICAL Cottonwood High School

  • November 21, 22, 23, 25
  • Tickets $8.00

    There are also some great musicals on the west side of the Valley:
    PETER PAN is playing at the brand new Granger High auditorium on Nov. 21, 22, 23, and 25.
    Shows start at 7.
    The cost is $6 a person.
