What are your kids’ plans for spring break? Stay home, play video games, watch movies, stay inside? Wouldn’t you want something that’s educational and FUN! Spring Break at The Leonardo can help with that. At The Leonardo we can help your child stay creative and curious with our themed Spring Break Camps! These camps can take your child around the world or invent gadget with their curious mind.
A child’s mind has endless creativity. Why not let them explore that in Camp Create – where inventing isn’t just for grown-ups — April 14-18, 2014. In Camp Create your child will tinker, build and use their inner Da-Vinci to invent all week long! Each day is themed to expand your child’s Leo bubble.
Monday, April 14: Lights and Colors
Tuesday, April 15: Music and Sound
Wednesday, April 16: Robotics
Thursday, April 17: Powered by Nature
Friday, April 18: Crafty Circuits
Camp Create is for Grades K-2 from 8:30AM – 12:30PM. You can drop your child off for one day, two days, or the entire week. Pricing can be found on The Leonardo website.
If your child is prepared to explore the world and between Grades 3-6, then your child is ready for Camp Explore! In Camp Explore, children will travel the culture, foods, and notable inventions of a different country each day. After exploring, each child will create their own invention to lead us into the future. Each day is themed, just like Camp Create, to let your child’s creativity explore worldly possibilities.
Monday, April 14: Italy
Tuesday, April 15: China
Wednesday, April 16: France
Thursday, April 17: Egypt
Friday, April 18: North America
As mentioned above, Camp Explore is for Grades 3-6 from 8:30AM – 4:30PM. To learn about pricing and register your child, please visit www.TheLeonardo.org.
During the 2014 Spring Break Camps your child will discover the unexpected way science, technology, art, and creativity connect. This will all take place while being guided by a Leo camp expert. Each child will be engaged in The Leonardo’s labs (Tinkering Garage, Render, and Lab@Leo) all while making new friend!
